... hurt today as it put a lot of stress on my foot. Even though everything was hurting, we decided to go for a hike. We hiked up to a elevation of 11,000 feet. Australia's biggest mountain is 5,000 feet.

On our way down it started snowing. It's late spring over here! It was absolutely fantastic. There wasn't as much to fill the ground but the weather was pretty exquisite.

... come out of the water adding to the beauty of this moon-like scenario. Daniele reminds that in Pink Floyds' album "Wish you were here" one of the pictures in the LP are the Mono Lakes rocks... We finally drive to Mammoth Lakes, a ski resort where we booked a flat in a nice building. We can finally eat without going out and make some laundry. PS pictures are really bad, I made them with the phone, we absolutely have to download the ones made with the camera !!! ...
