... downhill riding so I had expected to spend the entire time falling off with my shocking balance. We got the chair lift up to the easy trail to start off and Dylan was showing me how it's done. While explaining how to position your body weight and work out your brakes I look up to see Dylan's bike laying on the first berm in a massive cloud of dust, he was a few metres away. Nearly fell off laughing, in his showing off he hit the wrong brake and went ass up on the first corner.

... morning we explored Mono Lake, a terminal lake with no outlet to the sea, causing salts to accumulate in it to a very high level. When fresh-water springs containing calcium bubble up through the carbonate rich lake water they form towers of calcium carbonate called tufa. And because the water level has dropped, some of these tufa towers are now on dry land surrounding the lake.

... bed when we got there, the time differences are so messed up we flew from new zealand on the 7th august at 6am, and landed in LA the same day at 6.30am!haha. We went for a walk downtown the 1st afternoon. We found grand central market which sells all sorts of food, it was full of skanky people. There were loads of homeless people downtown, the dont seem to bother you too much though. We walked to the city hall, civic centre and walt disney concert hall which was a nice area. The ...
