As soon as we arrived at the hotel the staff were really excellent at keeping the plans hush hush. From our arrival on the 2nd and up until midday on the 3rd, Denise's birthday, I had five separate conversations with the staff about arrangements and timings, always within sight of Denise but just out of earshot and she had absolutely no idea. Mwah ha haa.
It's kind of creepy. Their big, bulgy, dead fish eyes follow you around the room like The Picture of Dorian Gray. For some reason it brought to my mind an image of other fish approaching this Wall of Mounted Fish Leaders for advice and council.
