... shop or an American/European man looking for somewhere to bring their "girlfriend" for sun, sand, and a little .... At the southern end of White Beach you get a taste for what the Island was like maybe 15 years ago. Not too overcrowed (yet), power failures and a small reef off the shore that's ok for a beginner snorkeller. He was going round in circles and started heading south instead of north. Dave told to stop going the wrong way and asked him if he should drive as he knew the way and was a better driver. ... br> And so after five and a half weeks it was time to say good-bye to the Philippines. It was a real highlight. The country has so much to offer from fantastic beaches, to a lively underwater world to the rice fields in the north. We were more than once impressed by the friendliness and hospitality of the people. There is a lot to see in the Philippines and we will be back to see even more of it. It's really more fun in the Philippines!
