... and then shown to our rooms. We have a huge mansion for our family. Two massive bedrooms with huge bathrooms and outdoor shower. It is flash, flash, flash. We have a huge deck, kitchen, dining area and lounge. It all opens up. Oh, and it has a thatched roof. Today I took a day off work so that I could go with Paul for his assessment walk. Paul, I and his assessor Megan left the lodge at 6:30am. Just after leaving the lodge we stopped to watch five white rhinos. It was a very nice sight to see so many of them together slowly walking and eating grass.

We arrived at the gate and picked up the staff member and drove back towards the lodge. As we turned a corner I spotted something out of the side of my eye- three sleeping lions two metres from the road. Paul braked and reversed. They were not bothered at all by our presence and continued to sleep, except for one which opened her eyes and raised her head, but only for a few seconds and then went back to sleep.
