    ... hours. We were actually a few hours early passing Atlantic city so we slowed ourselves down and arrived exactly on time to go through Cape May canal and pick up some diesel en route. The bridges were at about 57 feet so we cleared no problem, but this was the first bridge that we have ever come so close so we were a bit nervous and passed under very slowly.     ... there when you know where to look and have some binoculars. Met 3 different couples on the boat who had been to NZ last year and know more about our birds than we did.

    Monday: We headed off for 2 nights at the Seaview golf resort for George to have a golf and car fix.

    The trip to the Niagara Falls has been abandoned and we'll go to Cape Cod via the Hamptons (Long Island) instead.

    This morning, woke up at 7:00am and Legend was ready to go outside. Beautiful brisk morning. I have on pants and jacket. The sun feels good! Legend is getting used to going to the bathroom with cars buzzing by on the highway. Jess and I spent some time today at the outlet mall next to the hotel browsing.     ... come from) are expected to arrive over the next couple of days. The area is also a breeding ground for monarch butterflies who are due to take off for their migration to Mexico in a few weeks. Because they are late this year we won't see this but apparently it's quite spectacular.
