Thoughts on Beijing

A travel blog entry by jwalford

... came I the realization that I had no control over the driving situation and that by signing up to go to the Great Wall I gave up that control, it made the thought of the drive better - wall is spectacular - cannot believe how built into the mountain - beers on top of the wall was surreal. - slide down was insanely quick - could really pick up a ton of speed. - Sam from London a consultant with bci (Boston ...

As soon as we set foot on the wall, everyone shut up. It's truly amazing, in fact that's the only word I could say for a while! It goes on for miles and miles, and it's beautiful. I met a lady on the bus, so we walked together. It was really ...
