    It's Fika Time

... attraction as it was worth seeing, as often there is little distinction in the guide books about how worthy an attraction is for a visit. I guess they can't be preferential but sometimes we go out of our way to see something that was hardly worth the drive.

We went off route to the Gota Canal, opened in 1832 to provide transport for iron and timber between ...

    First snow

A travel blog entry by kazlang on Dec 10, 2014

As we travel across Sweden on our train, it has started to snow. It is coming down sideways and is heavy at some points. We are cosy inside. I think we are the only ones excited by the glimpse of the snow out the windows... Half way to Malmo the snow is thicker and making the forests of Christmas trees look just perfect. It is exciting to see the first snow in our European holiday. The little villages along the way look cold and isolated though and I am unsure how they ...
