    ... a lake to eat some bakery items we had purchased in Hoor. Our efforts were not very successful as lake access seemed to be restricted in the couple we tried to get to.
    We had all but given up when we found Mockensnas Herrgard, four kms off Highway 23 down a virtual one lane tarmac road.
    And it did lunch.
    And if had a spectacular lake view.
    And we had a change of plan and the bakery items got saved for dinner.

    It's Fika Time

    ... War II, walked by Napoleon's Tomb, went up in the Eiffel Tower and stood under the Arc de Triomphe Katie has a lot more information to add to her growing time line. Soon she will be learning about the Vikings and adding them to the time line as well as the important dates of when our ancestors migrated to America.

    But first, it is time for fika and then a night out to celebrate Bo and Helene's 25th wedding anniversary!

    ... houses warm... Don and I have had the loveliest time in the dining car where miniature bottles of Merlot and large bottles of Czech beer are sold at a very reasonable price. Again the service is amazing and the scenery and setting from another world...loving this train travel across Europe already. Even the toilets are better than any airplane toilet...that's another story! Awaiting our stop for Malmo soon. The whole of Sweden is just a revisit of the Ikea catalogue ...
