... Savings time changed in Europe last night....didn't realize it didn't change in the states until Christie explained....so we are now only 6 hours different than Central US time. Just love the Germans!! Finally a fun ticket agent on the train! When he approached, he said, "Guten Tag," and Deb answered the same...then he saw the rail pass, which immediately identifies us as Americans, and starts saying stuff like, "Hi, how are you." with a very good US accent....sort ...

A group of 17 international students from my apartment building took a bike trip west to the beach in the city of Zandvoort. We left around 11:30 in the morning and on the way we got to see Haarlem and Zuid-Kennemerland National Park on the way to the beach.

our first night away from London on this trip was spent at zeeburg camp ground, just outside the main city of amsterdam.
