... asking for directions. We are lost… in the place you should not be lost in. Luckily, we regain cell service and call Soledad who is the mother and wife of the family we have helped. I am relieved to see her pedaling towards us on a bike with only one pedal.

Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina and home for 13 million inhabitants, the Portenos! Second stop in Argentina, we found a host from the Couchsurfing community, Leo who had us over for 4 days. He was also hosting a German-Portuguese couple backpacking like us, with whom we enjoyed exploring the city. This stay felt like being at an old friend's house and we really enjoyed it, probably a little too much, having late dinners, BBQ night and good and passionate late ...
