This morning we had a simple continental breakfast at the hotel and quick look around the streets before catching the Powell Street cable car to Bay Street so that we could walk to Pier 33 on Embarcadero (esplanade). San Francisco: crazy city, crazy people
... to feel like an idiot!
During my 5 days there the San Francisco Giants (their baseball team) was playing for the finals with Detroit Tigers and everyone there was crazy about the Giants! They swept the Tigers 4-0 and were wild celebrations there. The Giants have a really beautiful stadium just by the sea.
The city is full of immigrants, mostly asian (but also many Hispanics). In NYC on the public transport you would hear announcements made also ...

Heute ist uns aufgefallen, dass hier alles größer ist: das Essen, die Autos, Türen, Betten und sogar die Toilettenbrillen. Auch wird man beim Einkaufen an der Kasse gefragt wie es einem geht und es wird einem ständig ein schöner Tag gewünscht.
