... It' began straight away. ... Marrakesh is more about the medieval medina and the people that live in it; seeing monkeys on chains, snake charmers, donkeys and carts and the local musicians in the main sq who appear in the evening.

We're now back at the hotel, watching the rain pour down, contemplating a street dinner if it stops and maybe cafe del Paris for an escapist mint tea (beer is heavily frowned upon!)
