We had wanted to visit this island ever since we read Adrian's book in don det and he told us about the massive flash floods that nearly wiped it all out. Where we were staying was massively affected by the floods so ...

... tourist from the very North of Sumatra, Yo Busra! So I started looking around and got in contact with a Czech guy who is really into conservation of rain forests around the world. I decided to go and work with him in a camp at the border of the National Park, a 3-4 hour hike away.
