... headed back to Viña as Kerry had booked a table at a restaurant and it was getting quite late. We got to the Spanish restaurant and it was rather busy which was a first good sign, inside also looked really posh so we were intreged to see how tasty it was going to be as the reviews on trip advisor were outstanding. The food in fact was delicious Kerry had Salmon and Steve had a local fish called rieneta with mussels and prawns. Great choice ...

With feelings of sadness, we leave San Pedro de Atacama for the airport in Calama. We have all enjoyed our stay here immensely, and wish we could stay longer. This rugged and remote landscape with endless opportunities for outdoor activities really is our type of holiday. But since we are traveling during the Christmas season, we have had to book things quite rigidly with little flexibility afforded in our plans.

... Im hoping to go back on a nice night and watch the sun set from up there.

I didnt go out with friends thurs fri or sat hoping that i would get over this sickness and i spent my days sleeping and I read two books but it hasnt gone away and i am getting very frustrated with it. I was hoping to get better by today (sunday) so i could go hike up a mountain with the group. With the hiking and altitude on top of my already not being able to breathe I didnt ...

There is not much to write about Valparaiso except the amazing street graffiti. The graffiti in Valparaiso was not tags, but art, but yeah, there are tags but nobody cares about those. It's those murals that people stop and look at and those are all over. Another thing that is all over are dogs. Dogs, dogs, dogs....they're all over the place. Latinos don't pay ...
