Good location - walk to pub street. Helpful reception lady. Nice food. Big rooms with a/c, TV and bathrooms. Good value for money.

It's about 10 minutes walk from the main bit but it's close to the river, which is lovely. The room was huge and clean, the staff very friendly. The breakfast that came with the room was only a baguette with jam which is a bit boring on the third day!

I initially planned only to stay here for two nights but stayed for 4 or 5. It was a really nice place for $6/night. The staff were all very pleasant, always polite and smiling. The rooms were spacious and clean. Just know that you have to pay $3 extra for hot water and air conditioning.

So it's 7am I am awake watching the Superbowl. Sports, yes, me. I have been awake since 5.15! But it's a good atmosphere anyway. So I left at 9am by bus from Phnom Penh to here, the bus ended up taking 7 hours instead of 5/6. It went quite fast, and I finished my second book, Nicholas Sparks, The Lucky One. It was ok, but not one of his best! The …

Good afternoon! So today I headed off to one of the Wonders of the World.. although a lot of people I have told about it don't know it, anything about it, or even where Cambodia is! So I got told my trip was leaving at 5am.. MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT! Apparently watching the sunrise over Angkor Wat is amazing- so that is what I did. I got in the tuk tuk …

My last day in another beautiful, beautiful country! I have loved everything about it. The people, the culture, the way of life, and the stunning scenery. I had a very relaxing day today and read and caught up on sleep! The power cut out around 8am this morning- at first I expected it to last a few minutes like it usually does in general SE Asia- …

Overall our stay in Siem Reap was very good. The nightlife was good, they had many mixed restaurants including western food which is nice to have every now and again after 3 months away. Considering we drank alcohol socially every night, we were still able to stick to our budget and the hotel was extremely cheap. The last two nights were spent with …
