... encontramos con cinco niños monje con sus vestimentas de color ocre y amarillo jugando al futbol con un simple ovillo de lana. Los saludamos, y nos sonrieron tímidamente… Fue una sensación única. Y así seguimos a un monje que nos condujo por un pasillo largo en donde nos recibirían. Nos rodeaba el silencio, la paz, la inspiración, la buena energía, y un panorama impactante de los Himalayas que nos acompañara por los próximos meses.

Of course there are no pavements, road markings or traffic lights so it is a free for all which is actually quite exciting when you are driving! The people here are friendly and there is not too much hassle. After a nice day we were transferred to Nagarkot, which meant a beautiful but hair-raising climb into the hills.

... auch ein Nashorn.Im Dunkel fuhren wir die letzten 1,5h zurück zur Lodge. Es ist recht komisch ohne Licht am Velo und auf der Strasse Fahrrad zu fahren. Wir waren dem Vollmond wieder einmal unendlich dankbar!

Die Leute in der Nähe des Parkes leben ganz einfach in Stroh-Lehmhäuser und betreiben Ackerbau/Viehzucht. Die Kinder lernen schon ab dem Kindergarten Englisch in der Schule und haben Freude ...

When you look up at the stars you cannot help feel extremely small and insignificant, they are sublime and in their presence you can allow your mind to open up to much more realms of possibilities. I gradually watch the sky get lighter and with the sun coming up on the horizon all of the stars vanish in an instant.
