      ... and I thought we were half way to Fort Lauderdale but Rodd and Tim were still saying they wanted to see these homes so somehow Tim managed to guide us back and we went cruising around ooing and ahhing over gorgeous waterfront homes surrounded in lush tropical gardens. Sightseeing done we head off to Fort Lauderdale with heaps of time, I was napping sporadically and the next thing I'm hearing Rodd and Tim talking about the airport turnoff..       ... from ND that I hadn't seen for a long time and even some from the Dublin fall semester program whom I had already greatly missed.

      All the events surrounding the game were very well done. The pep rally on South Beach, the free Flo Rida concert on South Beach, and the obvious Notre Dame majority made Miami an unforgettable experience for me. Unfortunately we convincingly lost this game, but that didn't matter too much with everything else that happened. We'll win it next year ...

      ... hard it made me sweat, I blindly stuck Sheila's hand where I could not feel or see a vein but knew from the million IV's I've started that it had to be there. And it was! Once I got the line in I yelled for the stewardess to bring me a hanger so we could hang the fluids. One stick Vik to the rescue!

      ... not as nice as at Mullet Bay - but it was pretty calm and still pretty clear, and still super super sandy!
