... the night there, dozens and dozens of big semi trucks also spent the night -- running their diesel engines all night as they slept peacefully in their little beds all around us. ... fluid reservoir and sure enough it was pretty empty. Bob went into the oil place to see if he had any brake fluid. He did not sell any, but he did have some DOT 3 in his car. Well, that was not going to work since the tag on the reservoir stated only DOT 5.1 to be used. Not once again, as luck would have it, there was an Auto Zone "just up the road". So we unhooked the car and Bob left to get some brake fluid and a funnel. (Another reason to tow.) He returned, ...
... Cafe. Their lunch special on Friday was fried catfish and shrimp with sweet potato fries. We topped it off with their bread pudding - the waiter thought it was a fabulous dish - but the bread pudding had raisins in it which is not my favorite. But they put on the side of the bread pudding fried bananas and caramelized nuts with a bit of ice cream that was just as good as the bread pudding!!!
... close. It was awesome! We caught some more glances of the lions, and the monkeys, of course.
The lemurs are a funny story. Because there are so few of them, they need companionship. So, the caretakers put outdoor cats inside the enclosure with them. The lemurs learned how to meow! It's hilarious.
After lunch, we went out to the Compost heap. Those of us with blue jeans went scavenging (with the help of a backhoe) for miscellaneous things put in the heap, or really ...
