It's morning, no story yet but having lunch with my daughter Sonya at La Gloria, no , that's not heaven, nor is it that sleepy little town down in South Texas by the border. It's a Mexican food restaurant at the old Pearl Brewery grounds. Is it any good or just ok, tell ya later,at least my thoughts. Oh, in San Antonio,Texas ( home of the Alamo. ... Cafe. Their lunch special on Friday was fried catfish and shrimp with sweet potato fries. We topped it off with their bread pudding - the waiter thought it was a fabulous dish - but the bread pudding had raisins in it which is not my favorite. But they put on the side of the bread pudding fried bananas and caramelized nuts with a bit of ice cream that was just as good as the bread pudding!!!

The lemurs are a funny story. Because there are so few of them, they need companionship. So, the caretakers put outdoor cats inside the enclosure with them. The lemurs learned how to meow! It's hilarious.
After lunch, we went out to the Compost heap. Those of us with blue jeans went scavenging (with the help of a backhoe) for miscellaneous things put in the heap, or really ...
