... s Sno Cap Drive In, Road Kill Cafe and Westside Lilo's. I like the latter for the quality of the German style food and nostalgic charm. Frankie ordered a bacon mushroom and cheese omelette that she swore was the best she's ever tasted. Even the hash brown potatoes were crispy like she likes them. ... headed to Target first up to buy a laptop. You may have noticed I'm a little bit behind with blogging... Well when we first decided to come over here we bought an iPad thinking that it would be easy to travel with & that we would just store all of our photos on there and that would be fine... We eventually slow to 55 mph and hold that speed. The trucks are not going much faster. After a 2.5 hours of travel we reach the outskirts of Kingman, AZ. The entire 150 miles that we had passed through offered not one rest stop that was open and only one spot wide enough to get off of the highway. We took advantage of that ...

Today we took a sentimental journey down Route 66. Anyone remember Buzz and Todd and their blue Corvette? We did some site seeing and geocaching. A wonderful hot day on the desert around 90 F.

We visited the AVI Casino for some photos and a visit to another flea market. Got home in time for happy hour and for Gwen to do laundry....

Watched the Brier final on Skype thanks to Lindsay. See multitasking photo. Yea Manitoba!!

Really heading north tomorrow. ...
