... to us. The pilot boat comes next to us and the pilot jumps into the boat. The pilot boat is filled with well wishers who wave their goodbyes. The pilot waves his goodbye and with that wave, the boat heaves to and turns back. With a last blast of the horn, we clear the harbor and head out to sea. We are at sea for the next 8 days!
