Drove down to Durban to meet my friend Jamie. Durban is not all that interesting especially since we ticked off the one suggested activity we wanted to do in the first hour. That was to eat a 'bunny chow'. There is a huge community of Indians in Durban and a bunny chow is basically half a loaf of bread, hollowed out and filled with curry. It was pretty good. The guy who kept the car for us in Johannesburg suggested that we go on a Land Rover Experience day, organized by Land Rover, as neither of us have any real 4x4 experience. We heard that there was one in Durban so we contacted them as soon as we got there. Durban council even removes the shark nets so the sardines can get even closer to shore where it is easier for local fishermen to net the fish.
