... bears which took us out of our comfort zone as you had to hack through really dense rainforests in the pouring rain and mud and climbing up rock faces but that just added to the excitement. Pete wore shorts the first time and soon realised that was a mistake when he got a massive cut up the back of his leg. ... on the line to scrape together enough money to buy it and make it into a place where they could safety show interested people Grizzly bears in the wild, not from viewing platforms, but from rafts while the bears are eating salmon in the water etc, not changing the bears behavior at all by herding or scaring them, but just unobtrusively viewing them. After Julius' talk, much of his learning gleaned from the 3 famous bear biologists that happen to reside around Kaslo, ignited by ...

... lodge as C.J. the hostess is so welcoming.
She has 2 beautiful rooms each with their own bathroom. You have a lovely sitting area and a door that leads to the beautiful area out the back with lovely chairs to relax in.

We unloaded the bikes, grabbed some towels and headed to Ainsworth Hot Springs. We spent the entire afternoon soaking in the warm water of the pool and the very hot water of ...
