Well….5:15 :-/ But, I forced myself to stay in bed and managed another hour I think. Fresh peach muffins this morning - so again I was a lazy relax on the Patio enjoying a pot of ground coffee and this freshly baked masterpiece.

Then, once Beloved was up and about, we went over to the main lodge to meet up and have breakfast …

Still struggling with the time difference - it was a ‘wide-awake’ 5am for me, so not wanting to disturb Beloved I crept down to sit on the patio and read my book whilst the sun came up…..Sel joined me at 6, so she too is finding the time alteration a bit difficult. Our cabin looked out over the river and rapids and the view and sound of the water when you were drifting off to sleep was amazing. Julius and his 2 guides (one of whom was a hot 24 year old ...

Picked up our hire car this morning in Vancouver (it's a Toyota Corolla and looks like a proper grown up's car). Pete is sad that its not as comfortable as the Jeep, Nina is happy as she can see over the steering wheel. Drove 8.5 hours today and 500 miles to Kaslo, a small town in BC. It is amazing you can drive that far but still ...
