... to see a giant black squirrel with a tail longer than its body and a tiny owl called an owlet. As we drove on through the park, we saw monkeys running along the side of the road and swinging through the trees. Their constant entertainment never grew dull. ... t have the best of luck when it comes to animal poo! Shortly after 7pm we pulled up to the village of Chok Chai, where Tony had arranged for the three of us to stay with one of his friends called Pete. We had dinner prepared for us, and we couldn't have asked for better hospitality from Pete. He is an gentleman in his late 50s who comes from Holland. I've managed to re-do my washing since being here so let's hope it doesn't rain again whilst it's out drying ...
