    ... taking it easy on bendy roads was fun. We went out of town together but then he was heading where I had come from. Nice fella tho, and I did have to say I thought his country was beautiful.
    Strangely went past a hotel I'd been to before, I remember walking to the local baker for snacks, playing in the pool with George, James was busy sulking as I recall. But the best bit of that trip had been playing Pass the Pigs on the train journey ...

    ... France and luckily it was somewhat on the way. As we have discovered multiple times, there are no charming, undiscovered places that seemingly the rest of the world are currently also visiting. Same with Cassis. We followed the exits off the highway and went down to the town; however, the traffic was very bad and we couldn't find any parking spots. We circled around for a bit, but had no luck.     We had seen some weird looking boats on the lake on our morning walks and it turns out they are for jousting !!
    Loads of people arrived in cars and coaches for the junior jousting competition we went over to the lake and watched for a while the youngsters took it in turns ...

    We drove from the village through the stunning countryside to the coast at St Maximme we found a beach that allowed dogs on and we spent an hour or so playing with Cassie and Libby on the sand. the sea was quite rough so they didnt go swimming !!!! we all enjoyed a paddle !!! After seeing the very commercial town of St Maximme we headed into the hills and stopped at Le Muy for lunch before heading back to camp. ...
