    We woke up pretty early today as we had to get the bus to La Spezia at 8:07. We all did some last minute packing, checked out and got on the bus. It was a shortish ride but the bus dropped us a good ten minute walk from the station, so we frantically oriented ourselves and got going.     We had noticed as we drove towards the supermarket in Frejus that there was an old town so we set out to have a look............. what a surprise it was beautiful and very old cant remember the dates but extremely ancient they have rebuilt the amphi theater it was the old remains with a modern build on top , not worth a photo but they have made a nice place for festivals plays etc.
    As it was so hot we just had to stop in the square for a beer and ended up sharing a pizza ...

    Late night, late start on the day. But it's a vacation, right? Yeah, well, can't use that excuse too often or ya miss out on a lot.


    So, after a quick shower and repacking, it's time to hit the road for Antibes, then Cavaillon, and finally, home- Grenoble.

    Thanks go to Sophie who kept us on track to be sure we had enough time both days to see and experience as much as was physically possible. But, boy I was tired by now. ...

    It was moules and frite party nite at the bar.................... we got there for about 7:30 so we had time to eat before the england match started at 9 pm !!!
    The moules were absolutely delicious loads of them with plenty of bread and some nice frites with plenty of wine to help it along all for 15 ...
