    ... Ok, fine"..... Truth be told, I'm still not too sure of the actual name of the place where we are, but it's very close to St Tropez. (Ed. It's Port Grimaud, on the Gulf of St Tropez, and ST is about 6km around the bay to the ENE, but about 2 km as the crow flies.) So, we cycled into downtown VeryclosetoStTropez, and after entering a rather unusual sort-of gated community, complete with boom-gates and security staff, we found ourselves in a very Gold-Coastie feeling village, ...

    We had noticed as we drove towards the supermarket in Frejus that there was an old town so we set out to have a look............. what a surprise it was beautiful and very old cant remember the dates but extremely ancient they have rebuilt the amphi theater it was the old remains with a modern build on top , not worth a photo but they have made a nice place for festivals plays etc.
    As it was so hot we just had to stop in the square for a beer and ended up sharing a pizza ...

    It was moules and frite party nite at the bar.................... we got there for about 7:30 so we had time to eat before the england match started at 9 pm !!!
    The moules were absolutely delicious loads of them with plenty of bread and some nice frites with plenty of wine to help it along all for 15 ...

    ... air is getting cold and the wind can be quite brisk. We took the whole family for a wander through the old town, through the port and over to the beaches at Juan les Pins. We took them out to Cafe Clemenceau for crepes and croissants in the old town. The cafe has its tables set out in a little square with a small fountain in the middle.
