Great time at The Great Wolf

Had a lot of fun at the Great Wolf its kinda pricey for what it includes but if you don't mind dishing out the cash there is enough to keep the kids busy for days. Leave the older kids at home I would guess the cut off age for enjoying the trip is about 12 years old

About 10 minutes after leaving there I was in North Carolina and on the other side of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Lots of tight curves and steep grades to get down to the valley floor and then I was on another freeway, but again it wasn’t bad! Who knows why? Maybe these last few freeways have ...

We headed back to Charlotte on Friday morning planning on making a return stop to Fatz for lunch, however once we reached Shelby we decided that if Red Bridges Barbecue Lodge had made it both on NC Barbecue Society Historic Barbecue Trail, and was highly recommended by Gail from Fatz, then perhaps we should give it a chance.

We pulled into the diner which was very quaint and ordered one of their small trays for me and one of their large ...

      • Massive operation that works like clockwork
      • Friendly teams
      • Surgically clean
      • Awesome looking cars
We saw the cars used last weekend being pulled apart and cars for this and future weekends being built and skinned with sponsor colours and details. A couple of the cars had the driver seat installed and Emma's comment was spot on 'it looks like a child's seat'. Yes indeed it ...
