Of course went out! It was nice to see everyone - not too much has changed. Couple people we working so they met up with us later.

First with some morning showers, so I could genuinely experience the most humid region of NZ...but from the bus window perspective as we had a full driving day ahead of us on our way South to Wanaka.

The bus ended up being an hour late. Lucky my friends were still there. I had no way of contacting them to tell them of the drama. It turns out they had just called a cab to go back to the hostel to see if I had checked in. As my bus pulled up so did their cab. Perfect timing.
