Our plan was to take Jalen to see fireworks at Heavenly village on NYE but we cut the trip short and left NYE because of the horrible weather. It is way to cold, highs of 18. ... Bridge. The extension of this restaurant was a hidden gem overlooking the Truckee River, We sat at a rustic wood table and chairs and could see people climbing into small rafts to cruise down the river in the warm sun. The food was excellent too! After fueling up we took Hwy 80 home. We had dinner at Sharon and Roger's and played a couple card games of Genius with our friends Bobbi and Doug, included. Another wonderful ...

Back in the car and on the road again. Various stops for gas and a quick lunch stop put us in Reno around 3pm well ahead of schedule.

We wound up to Mt Rose which is 20+ miles of twisty curvy mountain road with fantastic views of Reno and the surrounding Great Basin.

      We rolled ...
