... we had just spent 4 days traipsing around a windy city and it is a special occasion...Lead the way to that spa!

So after unloading Mr-T of what felt like hundreds of bags, we had a little surprise in store for the anniversary love birds. A bottle of Champagne on ice with a message reading “Mr & Mrs Smith 1, Happy Anniversary in Lake Tahoe, Love Mr & Mrs Smith 2” to greet them ...

... energy at the pool and then the arcade. We hit a buffet (of course) and then headed to downtown Reno to show the kids the sights. We didn't know there was a "wing festival " going on. Pretty cool to show the kids the sights. Still having lots of laughs and we are all still in one piece. Even Jeffery (the hamster) seems to be doing well. Next stop California!! We are all excited and can't wait to be finished traveling. Ready to have our routine ...

... for us. With blue to our left and black to our right, we found a gray friendly sky above us, and beautiful scenery around us when we reached the top.

From 10,800 ft up we were able to see Reno, a tiny little city of in the distance. We saw all the mountains around us, all shorter than we stood now. And we saw the massive yet delicate lake Tahoe not far away. We caught our breath, took some pictures and relaxed a bit before pounding our way down the mountain.
