... volleyball courts and restaurant. The water was crystal clear and quite warm (so the kids told us) they played in there for ages whilst Des and I sat and watched. Dinner was in the restaurant which was lovely and tasty then off course back around the fire for s'mores! The RV's here seem to out do any of the others we have seen so far. ... energy at the pool and then the arcade. We hit a buffet (of course) and then headed to downtown Reno to show the kids the sights. We didn't know there was a "wing festival " going on. Pretty cool to show the kids the sights. Still having lots of laughs and we are all still in one piece. Even Jeffery (the hamster) seems to be doing well. Next stop California!! ... for us. With blue to our left and black to our right, we found a gray friendly sky above us, and beautiful scenery around us when we reached the top.
From 10,800 ft up we were able to see Reno, a tiny little city of in the distance. We saw all the mountains around us, all shorter than we stood now. And we saw the massive yet delicate lake Tahoe not far away. We caught our breath, took some pictures and relaxed a bit before pounding our way down the mountain.
