We left Whittier after the cruise and camped at Wiiliwaw CG. A beautiful and magnificent location! We came here on the recommendation of Linda and Roger, who we meet when camping in Sarah Palin's backyard (Wassilla). Linda and Roger also recommend we go to the Begich Bogg Visitor center.

We arrived in Kenai with scattered sunshine and our campsite is on a bluff overlooking the mouth of the Kenai River that flows into Cook Inlet. Kenai is the largest city on the Kenai peninsula. We are staying here a few days.

... wake them up for the tourists just near the end of the trip!! At the end of the trip, the crew helped us out and took us back to the starting point for departure.

We motored to Soldotna, about an hour away. We met up with out contact here and got our digs squared away along with the fishing contacts. We have a fly-in on Monday and two morning 6-hour trips on the Lower Kenai River on Tuesday ...

We stayed for their fellowship hour after the worship service and met a man that had lived in the Crosby and Bowbells area of ND.
