... air and a cloud of ‘steam/fog’ seemed to rise up from the ground and envelope around us. ... in Queensland..... Cycling in the rolling Hills on the Tableland Plateau is excellent with good paved roads shoulders... not much traffic with the whole Plateau is at about 2000 MSL .... very rich soil good farmland thanks to about 72 inches of Rain every year...... lucky me it is the dry Season right now with only occasional showers .... There many national parks , waterfall , biggest Fig tree in this Area and worthwhile to ...

... railway on the 1880's moved more than 2.3 million cubic metres in a super traditional way & hard labour. This was pretty much a full day excursion; left the tent at 7:30 and back around 4pm....straight onto scooters, pickup the 'new friends' and off to the playground. ... to peg before hoops. All went well. Found the showers and stood under there for what seemed like an eternity. But felt much better washing the roD and sweat off. Wandered out the gate in search of dinner and found a fish and chip shop right over the road.... Bonus.. Barra and chips and salad... ... for some reason went right around my neck and wouldn't leave! Following this we went for a lovely BBQ buffet lunch before heading into the wildlife park for a photo with a koala.
