    ... brother', so when approaching a big Maori man with his arms crossed we should look him in the eye and say 'chebro' and hopefully the response is 'oh chebro'.

    ... we decided to go for it! Skydive booked for tomorrow - weather dependant as the winds are quite high, but it sounds though there's only a slim chance there will be any problems.     ... the eruption in august 2012. That reminded me of a friend of mine who was crossing that day. Seeing how dangerous that already is, and what damage had happened, it was a scary thought to actually be on the track during an eruption.

    9 hours and 19.4km after we started our hike, we ended it with a beer to celebrate our alpine crossing with amazing views and super cold winds and snow and stunning beauty.

    That is another day I will remember ...

    ... lake, we had some serious homework to do as we were still struggling with the plan for after New Zealand. There have been so many option and we just haven't been able to decide. Ideally, we probably should of planned earlier but we didn't want to ruin our New Zealand trip! We will finally pick one of our plans but at least we managed to book three nights accomendation in LA.     ... any cloud cover and beautiful blue skies, until we were scheduled to jump that is, then a -20 degrees ice cloud decided to appear, causing the jumpers ahead of us to go up and then fly back down again. We waited almost 2 and a half hours until our turn, all the time feeling surges of adrenalin come and go.
