... they weren't optimal. One was too sttep. One was too far away. While exploring the put-ins, we met a couple from the Carolina's who had spent much time in the Adirondacks when they lived in Rochester. Oh, oh - was she Chris and I have forgotten his name. Very pleasant people. They said they were checking out some of the historical sights. Otto suggested we follow Tahawus road and see what we could see.
