Drove 534 miles in a tad under 10 hours.
Pretty slim for the highlights reel on a drive this long. We got away around 11 am after enjoying the Cleveland IPA's just a little too much.
Luckily the weather was perfect and the road easy. Once we got out of town our iPhone map advised that had 346 miles on the same road, a record for the trip I believe.
... paid for it all and even bought my dinner. He got the hotel because he wanted to print maps, but he never ended up doing that. It seemed like a waste of money to me. 90% of the times that we've had showers at camp, he hasn't taken one, so I don't know why he'd get a hotel room. It didn't fit with his norm. We were not excited about Vergennes. The water fall was nice, the town green community concert was cute, but the river was brown, the town was not vibrant and it was too hot. So we left early in the morning to make our way south to the Lake Champlain Bridge that was rebuilt and dedicated just a year ago. The trip down this narrow part of the lake was spectacular with the Adirondacks towering over us on our right and the ...
