Well this is not how I wanted to start this blog...but my luck with travel persists... My flight to DC was cancelled tonight.,most of you have experienced the lovely storms in our area....just ask my beautiful whippet Riese after hiding in the basement for 7 hours today! So, after rebooking with a very non-English speaking agent, I now leave tomorrow morning ...

I booked my flights to New Zealand today! WOW Due to the late timing though, I had to book my flights out of Washington DC. The challenge is getting there and back. Plus, I have to get on another flight to the South Island as soon as I land in Auckland. I still have one more leg to book...from South Island to north island before July 1st go live.
