... really neat views! We walked along a 1 km boardwalk trail, out to the site of an old cosmic ray research station. There were interpretive signs along the way that talked about the geologic history of the area, the flora and fauna of the area, and the names of the mountains around. When we reached the end, we found out that the old building is no longer there, but they have informational signs about the history of the research ...

Continuing along we paused at the continental divide plaque which marked the border between Alberta and British Columbia and also the point where the watershed divides between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Next we walked down to the Rock Isle Lake which is usually frozen most of the year and around the back so we could see the mountain range which framed the background.
