We savoured our time in Levoca and ended up having coffee and garlic soup at a nearby restaurant. Garlic soup is exactly what it sounds like, and it is completely amazing and delicious and wonderful (just be sure to bring gum for afterwards). ... the hottest pool outside.

To top it off, it was almost 70 degrees F. the day we arrived, an unseasonably warm day in mid October. I just read that it was the warmest September on record, averaging worldwide temperatures. And given our luck with weather, October might be also.

So, this posting will be short. All we did was soak and sauna and eat and repeat for 3 days. The worst weather day of our trip was day ...

... we stopped at the restaurant for lunch, and a well deserved rest. During our lunch break the clouds came down quite quickly, and looked like it was going to rain, so we made a bee line for the gondola and took that back down to the town we are staying in. It was a really nice way to spend the day, and definitely one of the highlights of our tour. This week is ...
