Woke up to miserable weather so decided to drive directly to France, unfortunately the rain and fog got worse as we travelled. Crossed the border into France and headed to a camp spot inland slightly, not far from Monaco as we plan to explore it tomorrow.

... bacon and eggs, waffles, omelets, potatoes or cinnamon rolls. It was ok for few days but we don't normally eat that so we gave it up. Back to the trip. We took off to the city of Nice, followed by the village of Eze. We were there just after 9am so most of the shops were still closed and no other tourists were there yet. ... we didn't have sand all over everything when we left the beach. I sat on the little towel and Dmitriy sat and the sand for about two minutes before we began our rotation into the water. We didn't want to leave our things unattended, so only one of us went swimming at a time. The water in the French Riviera is fairly calm and warm enough that I could dive right in without hesitation. ... We went to a view point, got lunch, wandered around to the port, got a drink and then lay on the beach as it was so hot.
