At our camp site we ate lunch and then had a very lazy afternoon. I had a refreshing cool shower, did some reading, had an afternoon nap and started drinking as the sunset. We were going to go for a walk or drive, but in the end we didn't.

A day of game awaits tomorrow. I'm shattered but elated. A great day but shame about those videos. The live action of the helicopter rounding the Giraffe up and the excitement of the ground team chasing is not captured in the same way by the photos. Ah well, maybe I'll get them uploaded soon.

This morning we had a little bit of a sleep-in. After a quick coffee and biscuits we set off for a drive. We drove straight to the hides on the other side of the reserve. We have spent the past few days in Johannesburg with Paul's parents. For the rest of our leave we were visiting Nylsvley Nature Reserve for two nights and then off to Marakele GameReserve for two nights. We left early this morning, stopped along the way to buy food and a few other supplies. It took us a few hours to drive there.
