... the water when I was swimming back as they had finished the carvings. They were the rudest people I had met, demanding part payment now because they were hungry (I'm pretty sure they were drunk and wanted more grog). ... Lichinga at around 4 pm. Quinta Camp turned out not to be a camp but a camp in the making. The owner said we could camp their anyway. No charge, we could just give the help a tip. I think this is the place with the worst toilet in all the trip. Needless to say I did not go near it. Made use of other means.

We were grateful to them for putting us up.
