Just when I thought the iguanas were cool, I found swimming pigs!

These guys hang out on the beach all day, and each time a dinghy or boat approaches, they charge for the water in search of handouts! They swim right up to the side of your boat. Being in an inflatable dinghy means you must keep some distance. We were told their hoofs will pierce the dinghy as ...

We snorkelled several times here and saw some great sea life: Sea Turtles, baby conch, Ocean Triggerfish, Nassau Grouper, Eagle Rays, Angelfish, Queen Angels, Squirrel fish, Parrotfish…just to name a few!

We anchored off of Bell Island for one night before heading around the corner to Little Bell.

Bell Island is privately owned by the Aga Khan. There is a marina being built there and ships, barges and equipment were arriving daily. The sand that they've dredged out has all been piled high on the far side of the island (you can see it from LIttle Bell / Cambridge Cay). ...

... looking to bring in a customs/immigrations office, setting up staff housing, and building a variety of the necessities / amenities for a small population.

They are obviously looking to recover some of the money they are spending. Kalik beer was $6 a bottle here. That is the most expensive we've seen it so far in the Exumas.

This was the first spot (since this trip began) that we had to set, and reset the anchor numerous times. The anchorage was packed full of boats and so to find a spot that would allow for swinging room was already a challenge, but then to find one that actually had sand for our anchor to dig into ...
