      This was a day off before going offshore, so I had planned to go to downtown New Orleans and visit the Aquarium and the IMAX Cinema but I wanted to just use the local bus. It worked out pretty well but was tricky the first time.       Wellll, Brother Bart and Baby Alysssa are heading back to Boston tomorrow. The Plaquimines parish portion of Fuller Center Disaster Rebuilders is really winding down now. We went over to Alabama this past Sunday/Monday to make a last ditch effort to see if we could move the camp over there instead of mothballing the operation.       This past week closes a chapter of sorts for Fuller Center Disaster Rebuilders. We just sent off our last groups of volunteers who worked with us all week to complete the last of the four new homes we have built here in Plaquimines parish, Louisiana. We had a group of three repeat offenders ( or boomerangers) from Wisconsin- Alan Park and Lee Struck and Mary the Princess.       ... are working with the VBS and the other half are going out everyday to the site to help us build and finish our last two homes here. Construction wise, the home for the Stuflets on Orangewood should be substantially complete this week. Baptist, that their leaders (Miss Rossylyn, Miss Star, Duane and Lacey and others) did a great job corralling and guiding and mentoring the group as needed and we accomplished alot this week at four different sites. The majority of the kids under 16 worked all week at a Rescue Farm for horses in Belle Chasse, La. near here. They shoveled you-know-what and cleaned out stalls for the horses.
