Said a reluctant good bye to Kelly, Mike and the kids. We had such a good time with you! Mike thanks for helping with the motor home leak. Only good thing we saw was gas for $2.19 per gallon just before we got to Arkansas. Even Arkansas ...

... engine the quiet was palpable. I immediately texted our Austin friends that we had arrived in the Great State of Texas. They asked the name of the town where we were staying. When I told her Rusk she informed me that the state prison for the criminally insane was located there. "Don't pick up any hitchhikers!" she joked. Here we were in the open countryside, only four other campers as company (none of whom we had any idea who they were......). And we were UNARMED!
