    ... It was just under a 10 hour hike and a few of us took on Mt Doom, this was a 45• angle crawl up volcanic rock terrain. I would take on DofE 10 times over before I would tackle that mountain again. The decent was easier than the accent but so dangerous, we essentially just rolled and slided down the mountain.
