    ... In a quiet bay further on we sat on a bench and ate the most delicious 'lamb pocket' from a mobile eatery called Dragonfired. Chunks of tender lamb in a pitta pocket with the most delicious tzatsiki ever. We found out later this place has won a couple of foodie awards. Then onto the hopper bus to a couple of wineries for a bit of tasting, and back on the ferry to Auckland. Fish and chips on the deck with Anne finished the day nicely.     ... decided to head to the Sky Casino, despite the fact that our day had started very early in Christchurch. The casino was packed and clearly focused on Chinese gamblers. We stayed only for a matter of ten or fifteen minutes and didn't even make a donation to their coffers.

    ... the city through the Parnell area which is full of cosmopolitan shops and onto the Auckland Museum. Then caught the Inner Bus route which takes you right round the city for just $2 each.
