Melaque
The ATM in Barra crashes worryingly and so we have to visit Melaque further up the beach. Its a little quiet and dilapidated and out of season but they have great street tacos. We try our first Michelada (beer with salt and juice - great for hangovers) and play Angry Birds on touchscreens on the back of the bus seats as we leave - very high tech!

Return to the beach
... and the owner/captain told George he flew back and forth to his job in Texas. Another day we took a launch tour of the lagoon which takes you by the fish market, canals where owners dock their large boats in the back yards, mangrove swamps, beach front restaurants, yacht harbor and returns. Now to get back on the diet!!! ...
