Bumblebee gets unloaded very professionally by the way - they have this hoist which rises up to the level of the flatbed and it is merely a matter of rolling her backwards onto the hoist which is then Lowered to the ground. What a great company. Very professional and extremely helpful. We couldn't fault them at all and great facilities. Yes, confirmed it is the drive shaft which has sheared and we learn this ...

In one section where the river is only 18 inches deep, the reflections of the high domed cave ceilings are spectacular. The Jungle Room has a good display of stalactites and stalagmites. The tour ends with a video presentation accompanying "God Bless America". West of Sullivan were ...

... fresh asparagus and black raspberry butter.

After the market and driving through the area, I headed for St. Charles, a historic town on the Missouri River. Navigating the freeway system to head northwest was a challenge, even for my GPS as a couple of exits had been renamed and construction in several locations. So many interstates come together in Saint Louis to cross the Mississippi and Missouri... and I feel like I traveled them all today.

One nice thing about only having to drive for around 5 hours a day is that you have time to do what you want and not rush doing it :)

When we arrived last night, we read that Cuba was famous for the many murals painted on buildings around town and decided to walk/drive around to see them all before Day 2 on highway. Very informative and fun. Very cute small town. So glad we spent time here!
