After the market and driving through the area, I headed for St. Charles, a historic town on the Missouri River. Navigating the freeway system to head northwest was a challenge, even for my GPS as a couple of exits had been renamed and construction in several locations. So many interstates come together in Saint Louis to cross the Mississippi and Missouri... and I feel like I traveled them all today.
One nice thing about only having to drive for around 5 hours a day is that you have time to do what you want and not rush doing it :)
When we arrived last night, we read that Cuba was famous for the many murals painted on buildings around town and decided to walk/drive around to see them all before Day 2 on highway. Very informative and fun. Very cute small town. So glad we spent time here!
