    ... in the fall of ’51. You might enjoy it… I certainly did. Lacey loves it here because she can run loose.

    All was done under the watchful eyes of some of the year-round occupants… a large turtle who had laid her eggs, a loon who serenaded us in the evenings, and a small bird bringing a dragonfly back for dinner to her babies in a nest at the Trading Post.

    ... of rain looming overhead. It was a bit depressing. Experiencing this kind of gloomy weather really makes one appreciate when the sun comes out.
