Annie Mains got the worst of it, and we decided to turn around knowing we would never be able to sit down with food and expect to live.     We made our way from Emo to Morden MB today. The drive from Emo to Kenora was great. Little traffic, roads in good shape and a varied and interesting landscape to take in. Garrett spotted a small group of turkey vultures sunning themselves in a worn out tree, Graham spotted the bald eagle perched atop a telephone line, and we were all scratching our heads to figure out what those large white birds were circling high above us -- pelicans! ...

    ... as we hadn't taken anything and only 1 bottle of water to share. We chilled out for a bit before driving back in to town to find a shower. The public showers, on the beach were closed so we found the campground up the road and asked to use there's which we didn't have to pay for so that was a nice bonus!     We weren't in a hurry this morning as we new it was only 4.5 hours that we had to drive. We left Anges just after 11am and stopped in town for the last minute stuff!!
