    Baseball and more Baseball

    ... one time it was a metal plate that came from someones home. OK, enough learning.

    Stopped at a roof top bar and grill for a much needed drink and bite to eat and then to watch a pickup baseball game at Doubleday Field.

    On our travels we stopped at a creamery for some ice cream and they must have known Chris was coming. There were signs all over saying "NO". We were allowed in the creamery. Whew!

    ... for a boat ride to Long Island, Maine. It was a wonderful day. Wednesday we were back in Fryeburg having a wonderful lunch with Bill and Barbara Lawrence. On the way home we stopped at Weston''s for strawberries and maple syrup.

    ... disappointed. It's sad to think of all the great baseball players that never got a chance to earn recognition and immortality because of the pervasive bigotry in the sport.
