      ... Shortly after that I got a text that the Dempsey/Hazelton family had landed in Toronto...now they have to get themselves up to Muskoka.       It's our last day at the lake, and so begins our list of lasts. Tom, Leah & I went out fishing off Star Island this morning. We used up our last minnows, and caught our last fish (6 perch). We didn't fish long as we wanted to say good-bye to Grandpa & Grandma and help them get their boat out of the lake.

      Along with Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner, the family picnic at the lake ranks right up there with the best meals of the year.

      After we all attended church together in Bemidji, our various families came back to the resort, and after a quick photo shoot, we each started preparing our part of the picnic.
