    ... in Dixon at 4:30 and I decided to continue onto Freeport IL for the night and ________ at a nice place across the street from the West End Motel. Before ________( can't mention) Dave Banker needed one more shirt for the trip and there was a Good Will a 1/2 block from the Motel.     Sheila had the chance to get together with her sister for today. They spent the morning shopping and visiting their mother's grave. Dozer and I decided to take a ride to Rockford and have lunch at Hotters. It was an excellent plan.

    ... Max enjoyed meeting Doug and spending time with him too. Then later we met Joshua, one of their children who lives nearby, and friends visiting from Michigan who arrived over a day after us. Joshua was very thoughtful and volunteered to do all of the Thanksgiving shopping for his mom on the night we arrived.     ... the family were out-of-towners. My sis Jan (Andy's godmother) and her husband flew in from Simi Valley, California. Uncle Don, Andy's godfather drove up from Ocala, Florida. Andy's Aunts and Uncles and cousins drove up from Chicago. Most of the family made it, sorry everyone couldn't be there.

    We couldn't of asked for a more beautiful day. The weather was perfect and everything went as planned with no problems.
