We left our luxurious campsite reluctantly and are now back in France where our adventure began. The drive was long, but interesting. The pre match special was a parade to celebrate Bastille day. A handful of veterans rode down the cobbled streets in old army jeeps followed by the towns fire brigade. Berets were a plenty. The parade must have lasted at least five minutes....not a big place. Game time started and the crowd ...

It's been 3 very long days to get to the point of seeing our first part of the tour. I woke at 4:00am due to body clock being out of whack, at 5am I went for a walk from the Hotel. I discovered a run down yet still fully functioning hospital down the road, looked like a scene from a movie. Beautiful walk. I returned back to the accommodation, we then all went for breakfast at the hotel. Again wonderful food. ...
