    ... can describe what you see, when driving. The towns, the villages perched on the mountain side, the streams running along side the road side. The old house and church here and there, it was unbelievable. To feel free and be away in clean air is wonderful.

    ... but the ice caves and tunnels were quite beautiful since I've never seen anything like it. Lots of stairs!!! My legs just burned from the climb up. It was a really long day. The altitude at Mont Blanc is 4810 meters (15,781 feet) which makes it the highest point in Europe. Sigh. I made it!!! I only felt a little dizzy at the top but I had a terrible headache at the end of the day. But it was worth it!
