... Val Ferret area. This is a real small hamlet with about 5-10 houses, a hotel and a bar/restaurant. Service was good, the shared washrooms were clean and dinner was tasty... Hopefully a better day tomorrow.... We've faced a few challenges on this trip so far, stinging nettle, wet backpack straps and long days, but I hope this last one is now behind us (pun intended) and we resume ...

Woke up to another beautiful day. Hotel Pavillon had been excellent and a great place to relax for the night. Dinner was a 5 course meal with great wine to celebrate harriet's birthday. See the picture from our room window. It is going to be very difficult leaving here to get on the path again. Such a quaint and modern town.
