    campsite a bit disappointing compared with what we have been at on our travels so far. Not overly friendly, seems more focussed towards French clientele.     ... in farmers fields. The other strange feature here are the lakes and ponds. This region has over 1,000 of them. Black brackish holes some with boating, fishing and some with gorgeous houses built next to them. We saw an amazing one at la Mer. Two lakes and a sunken swimming pool, mill wheel and landscaped gardens. I was so in ore I forgot to get my camera out. In fact I forgot it most of the ride.     Today we had a big day, another 100 km. We didn't get off to a great start, with me having a puncture, flat tyre, whatever, our first for the trip, and before we had even left the city. It was a bit of glass, and may have been there for a few days, as the tyre wasn't completely flat. I'm glad John could handle it all, he had all the tools, pump etc, and some CO2 canisters if we needed them. I just looked useless, but offered lots of words of encouragement, and some ...
