Last night we went looking for food and obviously should've gone right instead of left as all we could find was the equivalent of Pizza Hut and McDonald's. Not a very good introduction to French cuisine. Anyway as it was now getting late we settled on buying a loaf of bread and having a jam and cheese sandwich for tea haha. Of course on our way back via the circuitous route we did see a lot of very nice looking places to ...

A cool day with on and off drizzle. Time to move on from the Meuse and
head towards the Vosges and the National Parks of Alsace Lorraine, north of

We've had the odd letter that we have to look up - there is S, DK, B, BL, ...

... car park on the side of the mountain and through the 'I translate app' we were able to chat to some lovely French people who went above and beyond to accommodate us by moving their vans a little closer so we could squeeze in. By the end of the afternoon there was no chance of us moving...the car park turned into a last in first out policy, but we didn't mind. As the rain and fog set in overnight we watched the World Cup final on Luke and Kate's TV. The following ...
