... then walked to the post office to get our new phone covers (exciting right!!). On the way back we sat on the big rocks by the river and just enjoyed the sun and the the afternoon we headed to the gym to check it out and ended up signing up as it's the most reasonably prices place around.

... there's always a next time! They also have lots of art work/canvases etc on the walls of the local area which are just amazing!

Afterwards we went to Walmart to get a big fan as the screen on our windows don't allow much breeze in and it can get pretty hot!

Darren also got a little sketch book as I keep telling him how good he is at drawing but he doesn't' think he has a sketch book he can practice more and see how good he really ...

But let's get back to the Aspen trees, I adore them for the colour of their barks blue silvery and their amazing golden leaves which generally abandoned the branches at the gentle swirl of the colorado wind.

... boy was very sick, His throat had a bunch of ulcerations, his fever was uncontrollable, and he has no energy or appetite. Doctor George was great, but he had no answers for us. He started Colby on Z Pack but it has not done much. To add insult to injury his molars are now coming in. Tomorrow we are headed to Glenwood Springs and Colby was so looking forward to doing a Zip Line and go bungee jumping. We are hoping for a miraculous recovery tonight.

... and looked over the springs pools before they opened so they were nice and peaceful. It was a bit overcast at first and the mountains looked hazy but I hoped it would burn off by the time we got to the hike. We then headed for a gas stop. Gas in the mountains is ridiculous prices…well over $4 a gallon and often almost $5 a gallon. Absurd.
